Ralph C. White, Jr., 95, of Titusville, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2014. He was born on January 19, 1919 in Champagne, IL, the son of Ralph and Corrine White.
He began his military service flying blimps for the US Navy. During WWII, he served in the South Pacific on the aircraft carrier, Intrepid. He left the US Navy as a Lt. Commander. Formerly of Pittsburgh, PA, he was a long time resident of the Great Outdoors, serving on the Board of Directors. As an avid golfer, he routinely golfed his age.
Ralph is survived by his wife, Jane of Titusville; son, Greg of Baton Rouge, LA; daughter, Sandy of Venus, PA; two grandsons, Chris and Craig; and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 3, 2014 at 2:30 pm at the Great Outdoors Community Church, 144 Plantation Drive, Titusville, FL 32780. Military honors will follow the interment. There will be a reception at the church following the service.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made to the Great Outdoors Community Church.
