Obituary of Jason Lee Scott

Jason Lee Scott, age 39, born at Tachikawa AFB, Tachikawa Japan, passed on Monday, November 10, 2014 at Palm Bay Community Hospital in Palm Bay, Florida. He graduated from Spanish River High School, Boca Raton, FL where he lettered in football and track, before attending Concordia University in Mequon, Wisconsin on an athletic scholarship, continuing on as the captain of their football team. Jason graduated from Concordia in 1997 with a BS in sports medicine and a minor in business. In 2010 he was honored as a first round selection to the Concordia Football Hall of Fame. After college, Jason worked as a personal health trainer and competed in a body building competitions. In 2009 he began working at Browning’s Pharmacy and Health Care in Melbourne, FL. While working at Browning’s, he added to his resume by becoming certified as an assistive technology professional (complex rehabilitation). Jason loved the Browning’s family and his position as ATP. Jason is survived by his parents Bob and Ann Scott; sister Jennifer Scott; maternal grandmother Melvina (Gary) Hettel; aunt Charlotte (David) Snow; uncle Gene (Rose) Scott; aunt Lynn Scott; aunt Julia (Doug) Flowers; uncle J. C. Farmer; and his fiancee, Peggy Ritter. Viewing will be held at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, 950 Malabar Road, SE, Palm Bay, FL on Friday November 14, 2014 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. His funeral service will be at Calvary Chapel, 2955 Minton Road, West Melbourne, FL on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 10:00 am. Burial will be at Florida Memorial Gardens, Rockledge, FL.
