Obituary of Geraldine “Geri” Louise Bloomquist

Geraldine (Geri) Louise Wolfe Bloomquist, born November 18, 1930, passed on Tuesday, January 6, 2015. Geri was a long time member of the Epsilon Sigma Alpha society with numerous awards for philanthropic service. She was a Deacon of the Riverside Presbyterian Church of Cocoa Beach, a member of the Red Hat Club, Kars Park Ceramic Club, and a member of the Woman of the Moose Lodge in Merritt Island. She retired from the Boeing Co. She enjoyed volunteering for all of the clubs she associated with as well as holding various office positions in them. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, socializing with friends and of course dancing. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert L. Bloomquist. She is survived by her sons, Mark Bloomquist of Merritt Island and Robert Bloomquist of Key West; granddaughter, Jennifer B. Bourque; great-grandson, Michael Lee Bourque and great-granddaughter, Brianne Ivy Borque, all of Arlington, VA. Arrangements entrusted to Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, Rockledge, 632-1350.
