Obituary of Geena Marie Brown

Geena Marie Brown, 18 of Melbourne Beach, FL  passed away 1/27/2018 in Vero Beach, FL. She leaves behind her parents, Patrick and Kimberly Brown of Melbourne Beach, Florida; Siblings Samantha, Bethany and Carter Brown;  Paternal Grandparents Steve and Nancy Prosser of Overland Park, Kansas and Maternal Grandparents Doyle and Ronnie Kauk of Hoxie, Kansas, along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and her boyfriend, Mikey. Geena was a student at Palm Bay Magnet High school in Melbourne, FL  preparing to graduate in May with honors and was very excited to graduate wearing a silver robe denoting her honors and accomplishments.  At the time of her passing Geena was filling out applications for schools and scholarships.   She loved the sciences, had a passion for math, physics and chemistry and wanted to go to school to become a chemist.  She wanted to help develop a new, more efficient rocket fuel helping man soar to new heights.  Geena was a free spirit who loved walking on the beach and her hair color changed from moment to moment.  She had an old soul evidenced by her music playlist with choices including the Chordettes, Ella Fitzgerald, The Everly Brothers and so many more.  She had high aspirations and lofty dreams. A Celebration of Life was held Saturday, February 3rd at Juan Ponce De Leon Beach Park in Melbourne Beach, Florida.
