Obituary of Ann Marie James

Ann Marie Schade passed away at the age of 63 on Memorial Day, Monday May 29th. She passed away peacefully after fighting long and hard to recover from complications related to emergency surgery. Ann was born in Bethesda, Maryland on March 23, 1954, and graduated in 1972 from John. F. Kennedy High School in Wheaton, Maryland. In 1973, Ann married David Forrest Michael James, and both she and Dave became the proud parents to their daughter Kelly later that year. She and Dave divorced in 1980, but they remained friends, and was comforted in her last days by his presence with their daughter at her bedside. Ann held many jobs throughout her life, most notably as a Network Specialist for the last 26 years with the Department of Homeland Security Customs and Border Protection Agency. Her greatest hobby was genealogy research, and kept in touch with so many of her extended family members, mainly through Ancestry.com and Facebook. She loved her family fiercely and was happiest when she was spending time with her daughter, granddaughters, sister, grand-niece, and many close cousins, nieces and nephews. She is survived by her daughter Kelly Intille (Rob Intille), her sister Linda Schade, her granddaughters Samantha and Rebecca Intille, her grandniece Taylor Atwood, several cousins, nieces and nephews, and other extended family members, and her dog Roxie, and many friends and colleagues. She was preceded in death by her father Francis Xavier Schade, her mother Mary Jane Schade, her brothers Richard Carter and Edward Schade, and her sister Roberta Alberts. A memorial service for Ann will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 4th at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, 1001 South Hickory St, Melbourne.
