Obituary of Stella Mary Wagner

Stella M. Wagner, a 44 year resident of Melbourne, FL, passed away on March 13, 2015 at Holmes Regional Medical Center just three days shy of her 95th birthday. Born in Northampton, Pennsylvania, she was the third oldest of 10 children. She married Tony Wagner in 1943 and together they made a career of the Army living in New York, Panama, Japan and Ft. Belvoir, VA. Stella had a passion for sewing and was an avid seamstress and tailor, making beautiful creations for family members and friends. She served as an officer and committee member of multiple service organizations including the NCO Wives Club at Ft. Belvoir, VA, and in Melbourne at the Knights of Columbus #3746 Ladies Auxiliary and the Elks Lodge #1744 Ladies Auxiliary. Stella was preceded in death by her husband Command Sergeant Major Anthony M. Wagner and is survived by her son Colonel (Ret.) Tony Wagner and daughter-in-law Pat of Ft. Washington, MD, daughter Sue Wagner of Gainesville, FL, granddaughter Devon (David) Bresser of Lansing, KS, and grandson Tony (Molly) Wagner of Arlington, VA. She has five great grandchildren: Adam, Jack, Emma and Mike Bresser of Lansing, KS, and Penny Wagner of Arlington, VA. She is also survived by her siblings Rose Pitts, Anna (Tony) Barazzuol, Edward Brickler, Mathias Brickler, Lewis Brickler, Helen (Francis) Marsh and sister-in-law Helen Klock.
