Obituary of Olive Henry Wilmot

We celebrate the life of our beloved Olive Henry Wilmot. She was called by our Lord early Thursday, October 23, 2014, in Melbourne, Florida. She was surrounded and supported during her final moments by her loving children and family. Olive was born in Clarendon, Jamaica on October 31, 1938 and migrated to the Bronx, New York in the early 1970s. Years later, she then relocated with her family to Palm Bay, Florida. Throughout her working years, Olive supported her family as a medical professional. During each phase of her career, she was very well respected and known by her colleagues for her compassionate and nurturing personality. Olive is survived by her husband, Owen Wilmot; three children, Janet Anningson, Everton Henry, Merlyn McDonald, their spouses; siblings Marjorie Harrison, Veda Butler, Lisa Brown, Leslie Howlett, Danbert Gordon, Lorna Codner, Joan Ransom, Carroll Parks, Charmette Palmer, Arlene Laidlaw; grandchildren, Omar Henry, Sheana Henry, Jehan Phillips, Kareena Phillips, Tarik Phillips, Arielle Poteau, David Poteau, Daniel McDonald, Dhana Lawson; two great grandchildren, host of nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends and hearts she has touched along the way. She is preceded in passing by her mother, Beryl Harrison and her brother, Wesley.
