Lori Jean Toppe went home to the Lord on Tuesday, March 6th, 2018. She is survived by her beloved sons, Chris (Julie) Greblick of Orlando, and A.J. (Marlene) Greblick of Melbourne. She is also survived by her parents, Bob and Ricki Toppe of Melbourne, her sister Kim (Jim) Buck of Tampa, her brother Bob (Sarah) Toppe Jr of Tarrytown, NY, her granddaughter Nora Greblick of Orlando, Dan Greblick of Melbourne and several aunts, cousins and nieces.
Lori was a born again Christian who worshiped at Calvary Chapel Melbourne with Pastor Mark Balmer whose Holy Spirit-filled Bible teaching continued her growth in faith.
She graduated from Liverpool High School, where she was a member of the swim team, and attended SUNY at Morrisville and Broome Community College. Lori owned and operated Soaring Eagles Mountain Kennel in Binghamton, NY where she lovingly cared for dogs and horses.
Lori loved people and animals. Her heart was as big as the great outdoors, always giving and serving others. She was a free spirit with a radiant smile and strawberry blond hair.
She enjoyed many years of theme-filled family gatherings at her parent’s house on Lake Ontario. When she relocated to Florida she loved watching sunrises on the beaches.
Horseback riding was another passion of Lori’s. She introduced her niece Kelly to horseback riding, which directly led to Kelly pursuing an equestrian career.
Her lifetime wishes and dedications included:
* caring for her beloved sons.
* helping people who were less fortunate or in recovery. She volunteered at His Place Ministries in Melbourne, FL.
* helping disadvantaged animals. She volunteered at Kibble Kitchen, which collected and distributed dog food to their owners who could not afford it, and at one point she had rescued and cared for seven stray cats.
