Let the family know you care by sharing this tribute.

Pauline Pelletier Cormier, 69, formally of New Bedford, MA, died gracefully from a sudden and courageous battle with cancer on January 21, 2015 in Melbourne. She was the daughter of Robert L. Pelletier and the late Rose Alma (Beauregard) Pelletier, both of New Bedford.

Before moving to FL in 2007, she raised her family with her former husband, Ronald A. Cormier, in MA where she worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse. They then retired and spent 10 years on an adventure traveling the United States in a motor home.

She had an enthusiastic spirit for fun, learning experiences and loved interacting with people. She made the best of every situation and lived by the motto, “The Glory of God is a person fully alive!” She attended Calvary Chapel of Melbourne where she was very involved in numerous bible study groups and loved to volunteer her time in service and outreach programs. She also enjoyed being busy and active within the community, including local events, art museums, fitness centers, French cultural groups, Green Gables preservation, and theater. She especially enjoyed time with her neighbors and friends where she lived in Lakewood Village.

She is survived by her three children, Angela Pauline Cormier, her loving and dedicated caregiver, from Palm Bay, Viola Christine Cormier of Portland, OR, and Garrett R. Cormier of Hickory, NC. She also leaves her beloved grandchildren, Jayden and Kamryn Cormier, both of Palm Bay, Hailey Cormier of Acushnet, MA, and Evelyn Cormier of Hickory, NC. She was the sister of Suzanne J. Pelletier of Dartmouth, MA, Michael R. Pelletier of Hawthorne, CA, and the late Robert L. Pelletier, Jr. of Hollywood, FL.

A memorial service will be held at Ammen Family Cremation & Funeral Care, 1001 Hickory Street, Melbourne, FL, on January 31st at 10:00 am. A Celebration of Life will follow, hosted by the family.

Arrangements entrusted to Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, Palm Bay, 724-2224.

Dear Angela,
My heart is so heavy for the loss of your beloved Mom. I AM & ALWAYS will be here for you, my Friend. Here’s a poem I wrote that I hope will comfort you & your Family:

The time is passing, our hearts are sore
As days goes by, we’ll miss you more
Your loving smile, your welcome face
No one will ever take your place
To have you was to LOVE YOU
To part with you is pain
But we will treasure every memory
Until WE MEET AGAIN!!

Love,
Angela xo
(I will be at the service & the CELEBRATION of your Mom’s beautiful LIFE! Please let me know if you need anything at all…)

Angela, I have to admit I have never loved anyone so much without actually meeting them as I did your beautiful Mother. I can see where you get your inner powerful spirit and strength. Thank you for sharing your Mom with me..Keep in your heart how much I will always love you and be here for you. God is in your life which gives you the strength needed to face transitions of all types..this one should bring a sense of joy and happiness for the Angel that now walks those Streets of Gold. Love and Blessings Always, Vicki

My dear friend Angela. It saddens me to know that I will no longer have the opportunity to come to your mother’s home, cause chaos and leave as fast as I arrived. My childhood is filled with memories that include your mother. She was a free spirit. She now is an angel. You were blessed with her ability to love life, to always see a positive side, and to love with your entire heart. I am so very sorry for your loss. I am so very sorry for your entire family’s loss. She is one of a kind. She is loved. She is now free.
I will see you again Pauline someday and when I do, we will dance as if no one is looking, laugh loud so all of heaven can hear us, and we will sing a glorious song that will only make our spirits smile. Rest in peace

Dear Family, We are at a loss for words… She is with God and you can praise Him for His lovely Creation in your dear Mother. Life in the Village was better for her happy presence, so we will miss her every day as we offer a prayer of thanksgiving. So sorry to miss the Celebration of Her Life. “It was not to be,” as she would say. All is well; you and your children can have happy memories and light hearts. Time will heal. Our Heavenly Father will console. Much love and admiration, B&B

My sincerest sympathy to Pauline’s children and their families. When we were at Stang, I never knew your mom without a smile which seemed to reflect her disposition throughout life. We will miss her at the next reunion, but the “French Connection” from Stang has suffered the greatest loss. She was a lovely and vibrant lady.

I am so sadden to hear of the loss of someone so special. Pauline was always smiling, and happy to be doing whatever she could to make others smile. I have thought of her over the years and know that she is at peace with our good lord looking down on her most precious family. God Bless and look over all of you.

Pauline’s cheerful attitude will be missed by all at the art museum. She always was ready to help out with a friendly smile and occasionally with a little French.
Jusqu’+á ce que nous nous reverrons, mon ami.

My sincerest sympathy to you Angela and all of your family, your mother was a wonderful lady with whom I had the pleasure of working with for many years at the nursing home , I always admired her ability to tell it like it was and never thought twice about it. We shared many a laugh through the years and I thought of her often. She will be missed but like she said in the video ” we will all meet again on the other side” -Take care- be strong like your mom.

Your loss is ours as well. Pauline was such a dedicated volunteer for Calvary Chapel Women’s Ministries. We’ll miss her presence (and her Massachusetts accent). We thank God for her and know she is seeing Him face to face.
