Mary Faith Weaver, 94, daughter of Ernest Earl Weaver and Edna Laney Weaver, born in Timmonsville, South Carolina, on July 21, 1920, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 6, 2015, at Clare Bridge of West Melbourne, FL.
Mary Faith is survived by her beloved sister, Edna F. Miller, of Melbourne Beach, FL; sister-in-law Boyd Weaver, of Timmonsville, SC; five nieces, Karen Wilkes Gainey (Bryan) of Moore, SC; Janet Elizabeth GÇ£BethGÇ¥ Weaver of Hartsville, SC; Renee Weaver Yarborough (Craig) of Timmonsville, SC; Mary Edna King (Stephen) of Palm Bay, FL; and Landace Weaver Woods (George) of Taylors, SC; one nephew, James Earl Dean (Sherry) of Melbourne, FL; three grand-nephews, Lansing Yarborough of Timmonsville, SC; Landon Woods of Greenville, SC; and Russell King of Palm Bay, FL; and three grand-nieces, Ashley Gainey Ellington (Johnny) of Eden, NC; Lindsay Woods of Greenville, SC; and Madeleine Weaver of Myrtle Beach, SC.
Mary Faith was predeceased by her parents, her brother, Lansing B. Weaver, of Timmonsville, SC; two sisters, Melba W. Dean of Satellite Beach, FL, and Fern W. Wilkes, of Timmonsville, SC.; and brothers-in-law Dillon L. Wilkes, James G. Dean, and Russell R. Miller.
Mary Faith was a longtime employee of Union Bank of San Diego, California. She enjoyed living above Mission Bay in San Diego, working in her garden, sewing beautiful clothes, and caring for a succession of well-loved cats. After her retirement, she moved to Melbourne, Florida, to be near her dear sisters Edna and Melba.
A memorial service will be held in Timmonsville, South Carolina, where her ashes will be interred.
